What life do you want to design for yourself?

Take a moment to pause and connect with your innermost desires. What do you want for yourself? How do you want to feel in this lifetime? How do you want to Be in your lifetime?

It’s so easy to forget to ask ourselves what we truly want with genuine curiosity about why we want it, and what we think might happen when we have it. We also often contain what we want with self-limiting beliefs and logistical uncertainty or the fear of not-knowing. But what if you removed these constraints and let the heart run wild with what you truly want for yourself?

The other element needed to make change is readiness. It takes readiness to make subtle changes and bold moves. But how do you know when you’re ready? How do you get there? What comes before and after readiness?

I used to try and think my way to readiness but often found myself doing things before I was ready, which is unnecessarily stressful in the worst ways, or waiting so long for the ‘perfect’ moment that the moment passed.

So I tried a different approach. I slowed down. Got to know my process for decision making. Listened to my body for signs of readiness.

It also takes trusting the Self and backing your decisions for better or worse. Trust you’ve made your best choice in the moment of making it, for better or worse. We don’t know for certain what’s going to happen next but we can trust ourselves in the moment of decision making then let go… and trust you can make another decision when you have to.

Take a moment to connect with what you truly desire for yourself. Then go for it. Take a chance on YOU. Back yourself. Design a life you desire. Then create the life you designed for yourself.
